Team WWW Ghost Challenge.
Open to team WWW only. Once a week, a track will be chosen* and a 250cc ghost lap competition will be held. Racers will be allowed to ride as many laps as they wish, to get the fastest lap they can. The ghost will be uploaded for all to view, and will be stored online for the week of the competition. All ghosts will be allowed to be uploaded, but of course only the fastest one will count. Results will be posted on a page after the completion of the week. Stock 250cc only, rider collision off, vegi. collision on. These settings are standard on all tournaments. Ghosts that seem suspicious will be scrutinized and will be deleted from the database if declared a cheat bike is used. We feel that this will not happen on this team, dont prove us wrong. Racers are allowed to ride the spline as close as they want, if you can make a better lap taking a chance on the edge, so be it, its the same for everyone. Everyone must follow the tutorial for properly naming the ghost file, or else your ghost will not work. Please follow the tutorial carefully, if your file is named wrong, we have to go on the database and delete it. It cannot be renamed once uploaded. At this time we do not have a sophisticated script like over at Baja City. You'll get a popup window when clicking on the upload link, sorry. Hopefully this system will work ok without many (any) problems. We will have a message board dedicated to the ghost challenge. All bugs/problems should be reported there.
